How it works
- Type a wish in chat, the way you’d tell a friend: wish for a pink castle with a slide, or genie, make a rocket.
- The genie checks it and asks if you’re ready to build.
- POOF. It picks a spot that fits the land in front of you and builds it, facing you, while you watch.
- Keep it, try again, or undo it. Then explore it, add to it, and play in it together.
Real wishes, real builds

wish for a theme park with rides that really move
Coasters, a drop tower and a Ferris wheel that turns

wish for a five-star hotel with 100 rooms
Ten floors, a pool deck and a helipad on the roof

wish for a castle on a lake
A four-tower stone castle surrounded by water
How it differs from other AI Minecraft tools
| Schematic generators | AI companion mods | GenieCrafter | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | A file of a build to import | A bot player that helps | The build, placed in your world |
| Works on iPad | Only the website; importing needs Java tools | No (Java mods) | Yes |
| Install anything | WorldEdit or Litematica | A mod loader and mods | Nothing |
| Sized to your land | No, you place it | Varies | Yes, finds a spot in front of you |
| Undo | Your own backups | Varies | Any build, one word |
| Private family world | Bring your own | Bring your own | Included |
Schematic generators (for example BlockGPT) are great for experienced Java builders who want a file to edit. GenieCrafter is made for families who want to play in what they imagine, on whatever device they have.
Made for imagination, not for skipping the game
The best part of Minecraft is making things and playing in them. A 6-year-old has the same big ideas as an 11-year-old but not the hours to place ten thousand blocks. The genie closes that gap: the youngest can wish as big as the oldest, then everyone explores, adds to it and plays in it together.
And when you’d rather build by hand, our build ideas have layer-by-layer blueprints for 60 builds.
Questions
Is there an AI that builds in Minecraft?
Yes, a few kinds. Some AI tools turn a text description into a schematic file you import with WorldEdit or Litematica on Java. Some are AI companion mods that help you mine and build. GenieCrafter is different: it is a private world where you type a wish in chat and the genie builds it right there, live, on iPad, phone or PC.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. GenieCrafter worlds take players on Minecraft Bedrock (iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows) and Java (PC and Mac). There is nothing to install on the iPad: you join the world by its address and type wishes in the normal chat.
Do I need mods, WorldEdit or schematic files?
No. The genie places the blocks in your world itself. There are no files to download or import and no mods to install.
What can the genie build?
Almost anything you can describe: castles, treehouses, rockets, zoos, a candy shop shaped like a cupcake, a giant friendly robot. It picks a spot that fits the land in front of you, builds facing you, and every build can be kept, tried again or undone.
Does the AI play the game for my kids?
No. It gives them a head start on the big ideas. They decide what to wish for, then explore, change and add to it, and play in it together. Most of the time in a GenieCrafter world is spent playing in builds, not wishing for them.
Is it free?
GenieCrafter is in early access. The plan is $19.99 a month for your family’s private world, including 20 bonus wishes every month, and you can try it with 3 free wishes. Every wish costs one, big or small.
